In this disclaimer, “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Cansoft Technologies Corporation. “Services” includes the website, collection kits, laboratory coordination, reports, consultations, educational materials, and administrative support.

02 Educational and wellness purposes only

They are not intended to:

03 Different products use different testing methods

The terms “methylation test,” “DNA methylation test,” “genetic methylation test,” “MTHFR test,” “nutrient metabolism test,” and “biological age test” may describe different analyses. These products must not be treated as interchangeable.

The broad DNA Methylation Test examines inherited genetic locations associated with methylation-related pathways. The focused folate, vitamin D, zinc, and iron tests examine selected inherited variants. The Biological Age Test evaluates selected age-related DNA methylation patterns and uses a separate activation, analysis, and report process.

04 No diagnosis, medical screening, or exclusion of disease

A consumer methylation, nutrient-metabolism, MTHFR, or biological age report must not be interpreted as diagnosing or excluding a cardiovascular, clotting, neurological, psychiatric, hormonal, fertility, pregnancy-related, nutritional, metabolic, inflammatory, autoimmune, gastrointestinal, cancer-related, or other medical condition.

A favourable, typical, low-priority, or “normal-looking” result does not prove that you are healthy. An unusual, high-priority, or unfavourable result does not establish that a disease or deficiency exists.

Do not delay screening, medical evaluation, or treatment because of website content, a consultation, or a consumer report.

05 No healthcare provider-patient relationship

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement for a separately identified professional service, the Company is not acting as your physician, nurse, pharmacist, genetic counsellor, psychologist, registered dietitian, clinic, hospital, or other regulated healthcare provider.

Using the website, submitting an inquiry, placing an order, receiving a kit, submitting a sample, receiving a report, or communicating with customer support does not create a physician-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, or other professional healthcare relationship.

06 Report consultation and support limitations

A report consultation or support session may explain administrative matters, report organization, terminology, or general educational information. Unless specifically documented otherwise, it is not a medical appointment and does not include a physical examination, diagnosis, prescription, clinical treatment plan, or emergency care.

Support staff and general wellness consultants are not authorized to diagnose symptoms, confirm a deficiency, prescribe medication, determine supplement dosing, or advise you to discontinue professional care.

Where an independent licensed professional provides a separately identified service, that professional is responsible for explaining the nature and scope of the professional relationship and exercising their own professional judgement.

07 Limitations of inherited genetic wellness tests

An inherited genetic report evaluates selected DNA variants or locations associated with particular genes, pathways, or traits. Inherited genetic information is only one part of a larger health picture.

These reports do not directly measure:

• Your current DNA methylation activity or present gene expression.
• Whether a gene is currently “on,” “off,” slow, fast, blocked, or functioning normally in a particular tissue.
• Your current nutrient, hormone, neurotransmitter, inflammatory, detoxification, or organ-function status.
• Whether a medical condition exists.
• How you will personally respond to a medication, supplement, diet, or treatment.

Age, environment, diet, medication, medical history, family history, laboratory findings, lifestyle, other genes, and non-genetic factors may influence health and may modify or outweigh an association reported for a variant.

An association between a variant and a pathway, trait, symptom, or condition does not prove that the variant caused an outcome.

08 Biological Age Test limitations

A biological-age result is an estimate generated from the sample, selected DNA methylation markers, laboratory method, algorithm, reference data, and interpretation process used for the product.

It is not your legal or chronological age, a medical diagnosis, a complete measure of health, or a prediction of how long you will live.

Methylation patterns may differ among tissues and cell types. A result from one sample type does not necessarily represent every organ, tissue, or biological process in the body.

A lower estimated biological age does not prove that you are free of disease. A higher estimate does not prove that you have a disease or that your health will worsen.

Repeat results may vary because of sample quality, ordinary biological variation, analytical variation, changed algorithms, reference populations, or health and lifestyle factors. A changed estimate does not by itself prove that an intervention worked.

09 Folate, MTHFR, and homocysteine test limitations

The one-variant and two-variant folate tests evaluate selected inherited MTHFR variants. They provide genetic context associated with folate-processing and homocysteine-related pathways.

They do not directly measure:

• Your current folate or vitamin B12 level.
• Your current homocysteine level.
• Whether you have a folate or B12 deficiency.
• Whether you have a clotting, cardiovascular, neurological, fertility, pregnancy-related, or psychiatric condition.
• Whether methylfolate, folinic acid, B12, or another supplement is appropriate for you.

A person can have a reported MTHFR variant without having an abnormal laboratory value, and can have a deficiency or elevated homocysteine without the variant evaluated by the test.

10 Vitamin D, zinc, and iron metabolism limitations

Gene-based vitamin D, zinc, and iron reports provide information about selected inherited variants associated with transport, conversion, absorption, receptor activity, or regulation.

These tests do not measure your present vitamin D, zinc, iron, ferritin, transferrin, hemoglobin, or other laboratory values. They cannot confirm a deficiency, excess, anemia, hemochromatosis, osteoporosis, or another medical condition.

Current levels can be affected by diet, supplements, medication, sun exposure, absorption, blood loss, inflammation, medical conditions, age, and other factors.

11 Gene, pathway, and “detox” interpretations

A reported result involving MTHFR, COMT, MTR, MTRR, BHMT, CBS, GST, VDR, GC, CYP2R1, SLC30A3, TMPRSS6, or another gene is not a diagnosis and does not explain a person’s health by itself.

One gene or variant rarely determines a complex symptom, nutrient response, mood, behaviour, hormone level, detoxification capacity, fertility outcome, disease risk, or treatment response on its own.

Terms such as “slow,” “fast,” “blocked,” “poor detox,” “optimal methylation,” or “methylation support” may be simplified educational descriptions. They must not be interpreted as standardized whole-body clinical measurements.

12 Genetic results do not measure your current health

A genetic result does not directly measure your present methylation activity, nutrient status, homocysteine, inflammation, oxidative stress, hormones, neurotransmitters, organ function, immune function, cellular repair, or overall state of health.

Similar symptoms can have many possible causes. A consumer genetic report cannot determine why fatigue, brain fog, digestive discomfort, mood changes, hormonal symptoms, or another concern is occurring.

Current health questions may require medical history, examination, blood work, imaging, clinical genetic testing, or other appropriate assessment.

13 Sample collection, identity, and handling limitations

The completeness and reliability of testing may be affected by:

• Incorrect, incomplete, insufficient, or contaminated collection.
• Collection from the wrong person or inaccurate identifying information.
• Failure to follow the current kit and laboratory instructions.
• Sample degradation, leakage, damage, shipping delay, or unsuitable storage.
• Food, drink, smoking, chewing gum, oral products, or other factors where the kit instructions require avoidance.
• Use of an expired, damaged, or incorrect collection kit.
• Failure to activate or register a kit when required.

The laboratory may reject a sample, request recollection, or produce an incomplete, inconclusive, unexpected, or unavailable result.

14 Laboratory, database, and reporting limitations

All genetic and epigenetic testing has limitations. Results may be affected by:

• Extraction, amplification, genotyping, sequencing, array, or other processing limitations.
• The genes, variants, methylation sites, markers, and genomic locations included or excluded.
• Analytical sensitivity, specificity, thresholds, and quality-control rules.
• The sample type and mixture of cells in the submitted sample.
• Reference sequences, databases, scientific literature, reference populations, software, and algorithms.
• Incomplete, conflicting, or evolving scientific evidence.
• Technical, computational, clerical, labelling, or human error.

A result may be false-positive, false-negative, incomplete, inconclusive, unexpected, or unavailable. The absence of a reported variant or marker does not eliminate medical risk. The presence of a variant or marker does not establish that a condition exists or will occur.

Reports from different companies may differ because they test different markers, use different reference databases or algorithms, and apply different interpretation rules.

15 Scientific knowledge and interpretation may change

Genetics, epigenetics, methylation, nutrition, biological aging, and healthy-aging research continue to develop.

A classification, association, score, recommendation, or interpretation considered reasonable when a report is issued may later change because of new research, updated databases, revised algorithms, different reference populations, improved methodologies, professional guidance, or regulatory changes.

Unless expressly included in the purchased service or required by law, the Company is not obligated to continuously reinterpret, update, or reissue a previously delivered report.

16 Clinically confirm medically important information

Do not use a consumer wellness report as the sole basis for a diagnosis, medical decision, screening decision, or treatment change.

A qualified healthcare professional may recommend a detailed medical and family history, physical examination, blood testing, nutrient or homocysteine testing, clinically validated genetic testing, confirmatory analysis using another method, genetic counselling, or referral to another professional.

A healthcare professional may reasonably disagree with an interpretation, score, suggestion, supplement discussion, or priority presented in a consumer report or consultation.

17 Medication, supplements, nutrition, and exercise

Do not start, stop, replace, increase, or decrease prescription medication, non-prescription medication, vitamins, minerals, herbs, methyl donors, methylfolate, folinic acid, B12, iron, zinc, vitamin D, or another supplement or treatment based solely on website content, a report, or a consultation.

Do not make substantial changes to diet, fasting, exercise, pregnancy care, or a treatment plan without appropriate professional advice.

Supplements can cause side effects, interact with medications, affect laboratory tests, be unsuitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, be inappropriate for children, worsen certain conditions, or be harmful in excessive amounts.

The Company does not guarantee that a supplement, diet, exercise plan, or wellness action will be safe, appropriate, or effective for you.

18 Symptoms and medical concerns

Website content may discuss fatigue, brain fog, mood, digestion, stress, inflammation, hormone-related topics, cognitive health, nutrient concerns, or other health subjects for general educational purposes.

Similar symptoms can have many different causes. Genetic or epigenetic information alone cannot determine why a symptom is occurring.

Do not delay, avoid, or discontinue professional assessment because of website content, a support communication, a consultation, a normal-looking report, or the absence of a reported variant.

19 Pregnancy, fertility, and serious health decisions

Do not use a consumer methylation, genetic, nutrient-metabolism, or biological-age report as the sole basis for decisions involving:

• Pregnancy, prenatal care, fertility treatment, conception planning, or contraception.
• Blood clotting, anticoagulation, or cardiovascular risk.
• Cancer screening, diagnosis, or treatment.

20 Emergency and urgent care

This website, its forms, email addresses, consultations, and customer-support channels are not monitored or designed for medical emergencies.

21 Consent, identity, and authority to submit a sample

You must not submit a biological sample, genetic information, or personal information belonging to another person unless you have lawful authority and all consent required by applicable law and laboratory policy.

By submitting or arranging submission of a sample, the responsible person represents that:

• The sample was obtained lawfully and with all required informed consent.
• The sample came from the person identified in the order or registration information.
• The person placing the order has authority to act.
• The participant understands the general nature and purpose of the test.
• The information supplied with the sample is accurate.
• The sample was not obtained secretly, deceptively, or without authorization.

The Company may refuse, suspend, or cancel testing where consent, identity, authority, sample integrity, or lawful collection is uncertain.

22 Testing minors and dependant persons

A parent, guardian, or other representative must not order testing for a minor or dependant person unless that representative has legal authority to provide consent and the testing is permitted by applicable law, product eligibility requirements, and laboratory policy.

The Company may request evidence of identity, guardianship, parental responsibility, or other authority and may decline an order where capacity, consent, authority, product suitability, or the interests of the person being tested are uncertain.

A consumer wellness test should not be used to label a child with a medical, behavioural, psychiatric, nutritional, or developmental condition.

23 Unexpected, uncertain, and family-related information

Genetic and epigenetic testing may produce information that is unexpected, uncertain, confusing, or emotionally difficult.

Genetic results may also have implications for biological relatives because family members can share inherited characteristics.

A result may raise questions about family history, inherited traits, health associations, ancestry, or biological relationships. The Company cannot predict how an individual or family will react to this information.

Consider speaking with a qualified genetic counsellor or healthcare professional when a result may have significant personal, family, reproductive, or medical implications.

24 Not intended for legal, forensic, insurance, or official use

Unless a service is expressly sold and documented for a specific official purpose, consumer methylation and wellness testing is not intended for:

• Court proceedings, criminal investigations, or forensic identification.
• Immigration, custody, child-support, or inheritance matters.
• Proof of identity or biological relationship.
• Employment, insurance, disability, or government eligibility decisions.
• Official medical diagnosis or another regulated clinical purpose.

The Company does not represent that a consumer report will be accepted by a court, insurer, employer, government agency, healthcare institution, or other third party.

You are not required to disclose your genetic results to another person merely because you purchased a consumer test. Seek legal advice where a disclosure request raises legal or insurance questions.

25 No guarantee of benefit, suitability, or outcome

The Company does not guarantee that:

• A sample will produce a complete or conclusive result.
• A report will explain symptoms or identify a clinically significant issue.
• A healthcare professional will agree with a report.
• A result will lead to diagnosis, prevention, or effective treatment.
• Following a suggestion will improve health, energy, mood, digestion, weight, performance, biological age, or longevity.
• A customer will avoid, prevent, reverse, or delay disease or aging.
• A report will meet every personal expectation.
• A consultation will provide a treatment plan or resolve a health concern.
• A kit, sample, or report will arrive by a particular date.

26 Articles, sample reports, case studies, testimonials, and illustrations

A sample report illustrates possible structure and presentation. It may not show every section, limitation, outcome, or finding that will appear in an individual report.

Blog posts, educational pages, local service pages, health-topic pages, and comparisons are general information and are not individualized medical advice.

Testimonials, reviews, success stories, and case studies describe individual experiences, may not be typical, are not clinical proof, and do not guarantee that another customer will receive a similar result.

A case example cannot establish that a genetic result, supplement, dietary change, or other intervention caused a reported improvement.

27 Third-party laboratories and service providers

The Company does not control medical advice provided by an independent healthcare professional and does not endorse a professional merely because that person discusses a report.

28 Privacy, genetic information, and sample data

Biological samples, genetic information, epigenetic information, reports, account details, optional health information, and support communications may be sensitive.

The Privacy Policy and applicable consent or laboratory documents govern the collection, use, disclosure, storage, access, retention, transfer, correction, withdrawal of consent, and deletion of information.

This Medical Disclaimer does not replace the Privacy Policy or a product-specific consent document.

Physical samples and generated information may have different retention periods. A request to withdraw consent after processing begins may not reverse work already completed and may prevent the service from being completed.

Do not send medical records, identification documents, photographs, or other sensitive information through an ordinary contact form unless requested through an approved process.

29 Shipping, sample return, processing, and turnaround estimates

Laboratory turnaround begins only after an acceptable sample is received by the applicable laboratory. It does not begin on the date of purchase.

Outbound kit delivery, the time required to collect the sample, return shipping, weekends, holidays, laboratory closures, recollection, customs where applicable, and missing information are separate from the laboratory processing estimate.

Turnaround periods are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Postal, courier, weather, technical, laboratory, sample-quality, and other circumstances may cause delays.
